(Sorry no picture is available to me, but I used both Linebacker and
Franchester many years ago and know them to both be great old line
Wye bulls. I had Linebacker sons contending for the top of the
performance index at Red House when I was at Walnut Hill. That
profile, pedigree and performance is what I sought in this bull.
On the daughters of the hot young bulls we have used over the last
few years the progeny of this Wye bull should be excellent for
our environment.
If I recall my history correctly this bull was a result of using
the old line sires on the current Wye cows about ten years ago.
The EPD profile suffers some due to the age of the pedigree but I
am confident they will make good doing cattle.
