     High Maternal Sires
This page is From the Diamond D Angus Web Site

At Pipe Dream Farm We used 6D on a cross section of our cows, Particularly those with higher growth numbers.  We are looking to add meatiness and muscle and maintain the femininity of the Wye and OCC cattle.

Every time I look at this young bull I ask myself what would I change about him if I could. I walk away every time with the same answer. I cannot think of one thing. I know there is no such thing as a perfect animal: however, this young bull is as close as it gets. His temperament is as soft as 21X and he also offers as much muscle and fleshing ability as I have ever seen. I believe he gained weight through his first breeding season. We used this bull as heavy as we have ever used a young bull. He will work great on your heifers or cows.
His sons averaged $3843. in our last two sales. The first set of 6D daughters calved last spring and they look great.
A great son, DDA Sure Shot 59D, sold to Ben Lyoning of WY for $7,250. at our sale last fall.
