On
a recent trip to the high plains, the Limited Edition calves were the most
powerful calves we found. Limited Edition himself is a solid 7 frame bull
with unusual length of body, a strong top and big hip. His calves mirror
his type and show superior growth compared to other high performing sires
with weaning and yearling ratios of 105 and 104, respectively. Trail Boss
females are stout, rugged performers and Limited Edition's dam is no exception
with a nursing ratio of 112 for three calves. Birth weight 90 lb., weaning
weight 776 lb., yearling weight 1.430 lb.
