To top it off, he is Sired by Orville, who is a bull we raised and who is sired by Madison who is also a bull we raised. So Questor is special to us because he achieved what he did and is the third generation of our own bull breeding. His pedigree contains several of our superior and older pathfinder cows. While he was not recognized as such, because we chose to bring him home to use and not to sell him in the test sale, Questor was the top performing, top gaining, high wda, high yearling wt, top station indexing and top sale indexing bull in the 2006 Culpeper BCIA Senior bull test. Numbers below. It ain't bragging if he did it. It is fact. He is a bull we could never afford to buy and he is worth more to us in the breeding pasture than he is in a bull sale. With Questor and his sire, Orville, we have a bull battery that gives us the comfort of knowing that a cow not bred AI is not necessarily a let down in performance potential.
